Reading the hoodwatch tape: every column and tag explained
A reference for the hoodwatch live tape: columns, colors, the FIRST BUY, ranked, run-up, honeypot, synced, empty pool, copycat and deployer tags, keyboard shortcuts and the filters.
The tape at hoodwatch.dev is dense on purpose: one line per fill, everything you need to decide in the two minutes that matter. This page explains each part.
Columns
| column | meaning |
|---|---|
| time | when the fill landed on Robinhood Chain (your local time) |
| side | buy or sell |
| token | symbol; click for the token page with every tracked fill and research |
| size | dollar value of the fill at the time; rows above $5k are highlighted |
| mcap | market cap from the pool price, refreshed every minute |
| price | quote price in dollars |
| tokens | token amount |
| trader | fomo.family handle; click for the trader page |
| followers | fomo follower count |
| links | token website, DexScreener, Robinhood explorer, the trade on fomo, copy contract address |
Buys are green, sells red, matching the convention traders know from other tapes.
Tags
- FIRST BUY: the first tracked wallet into this token, shown only when that wallet is ranked or alpha, or when it is the token's very first tracked fill.
- ranked #n: the trader is in the top 100 by 30-day realized P/L across tracked wallets.
- alpha: tokens tend to go up after this wallet is first in (lead alpha, computed from the wallet's own first buys).
- +n.nx: run-up since the first tracked buy. Above 2x you are late on median.
- honeypot: an on-chain transfer simulation shows sells are blocked. Do not buy. See How honeypots work on Robinhood Chain.
- vanish: the largest holders' balances have gone to zero, a pre-rug signal.
- synced ×n: n tracked wallets made near-identical first buys within three minutes; staged launch.
- empty pool: under $2k of real quote-side liquidity behind a large headline number.
- bad deployer: the deployer or owner has a honeypot or repeated rugs in recent launches.
- copycat of X: lookalike ticker launched after X started running.
- event: the token name matches a live news event on our radar.
The bait patterns are explained in Synced buys, empty pools and copycat tickers.
